Hiatus Kaiyote - Love Heart Cheat Code (Vinyl LP Blue & White Marbled)
Blue & White Marbled Vinyl • Indie Exclusive
'Dreamboat' barely lasts two minutes, a soft-focus opening that drifts in rather than starts. Then 'Make Friends' locks into a rolling bass groove and the band settles in. The vocal bends and flutters across the top, phrased like another instrument. 'Everything's Beautiful' is the bright centre of side A, all bounce and light. 'Cinnamon Temple' is the live favourite finally let off the leash. 'White Rabbit' takes the old psychedelic slow build somewhere stranger, and the record never quite stops, circling on in a locked groove at the end of side B.

About the album.
Love Heart Cheat Code is the fourth studio album from Hiatus Kaiyote, the Melbourne neo-soul band, released by Brainfeeder on 28 June 2024.
The four-piece includes Nai Palm, Paul Bender, Perrin Moss, and Simon Mavin, and all four share writing credits on every original track. After the dense, maximal sound that earned them three Grammy nominations, the label points to simplicity as this album's defining shift, eleven tracks built around four players locked in together.
'Telescope' carries a co-writing credit for Smokey Robinson and Ronald White, 'BMO is Beautiful' features BMO from the animated series Adventure Time, and 'Cinnamon Temple' puts a long-running live favourite on record. The album closes with a cover of Jefferson Airplane's 'White Rabbit', written by Grace Slick.
On release, it reached number 48 on the UK Official Album Sales Chart.
This indie exclusive edition is pressed on blue and white marbled vinyl by GZ Media.
Love Heart Cheat Code follows Mood Valiant from 2021, and the two sit side by side naturally as the band's most recent run of records.
