Shipping policy

We want your records to arrive safely and quickly. Here's everything you need to know about how we pack and ship your order.

Juicy Records is based in Perth, Western Australia and ships Australia-wide using tracked delivery services, including Australia Post (Parcel Post and Express Post) and, where appropriate, selected private courier partners.

We take care to pack all records securely using purpose-built LP mailers to help ensure they arrive in excellent condition.

1. Dispatch Timeframes

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of purchase (excluding weekends and public holidays).

During high-demand periods or promotional launches, dispatch times may be slightly extended. If there is a significant delay, we will notify you.

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent via email.

2. Shipping Coverage

We currently ship Australia-wide only.

International shipping is not available at this time.

3. Shipping Rates

Available shipping options and pricing are displayed at checkout.

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $149 AUD (Australia-wide).

Free shipping applies after discounts and promotional codes have been applied.

4. Packaging & Handling

All records are handled minimally and shipped factory-sealed to preserve condition.

Orders are packed in purpose-built LP mailers designed specifically to protect vinyl records during transit.

In the rare event that your order arrives in unsatisfactory condition, please contact us and we'll make it right.

5. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimated by the selected carrier and vary depending on your location.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery timeframes are outside our direct control. While we work with our shipping partners to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including peak periods, weather events or service disruptions.

6. Transit Damage

If your order arrives damaged, you must:

  • Notify us within 7 days of confirmed delivery (based on carrier tracking)
  • Provide clear photographs of:
    • The outer packaging
    • Internal packaging
    • The damaged item(s)
  • Retain all packaging materials until the matter is resolved

We will assess each claim and provide a suitable resolution in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may limit our ability to investigate transit claims with the carrier.

7. Heat & Environmental Conditions

Vinyl records are sensitive to heat and extreme environmental conditions.

Once delivery has occurred, customers are responsible for ensuring records are not left in direct sunlight, hot mailboxes, or other high-temperature environments.

We are not responsible for damage caused by exposure to heat or improper storage after delivery.

8. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

Please ensure your shipping details are accurate at checkout.

Juicy Records is not responsible for delays or losses that result from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, we'll get in touch to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping charges may apply in these circumstances.

9. Stock Availability

While we make every effort to maintain accurate inventory levels, in rare cases an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to stock unavailability, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer:

  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative product (if available), subject to your approval

If a refund is required, it will be processed using the original payment method.

10. Lost Parcels

If your parcel is marked as delivered but cannot be located, please contact us promptly.

We will assist in lodging an investigation with the carrier. Where a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will provide a suitable remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
