Courtney Barnett - Creature of Habit
Caramel LP • Indie Exclusive
Sharp, unhurried, a little bruised. Barnett moved to LA, lost her label, and wrote the most honest record of her career. The guitar is languid. The lyrics land like a gut punch. You'll have heard nothing quite like it and recognise every single feeling.
“Great website experience and some absolute crackers to choose from, matched by swift delivery.”

About the album.
Creature of Habit is the fourth studio album from Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, released 27 March 2026 on Fiction Records / Mom + Pop. Produced by John Congleton alongside Barnett and collaborators including drummer Stella Mozgawa, the album was written in the wake of Barnett's relocation from Australia to the US and the closure of her label Milk! Records in 2023. Where earlier records turned the observable world outward, Creature of Habit turns inward, anxiety, routine, the friction between knowing better and doing the same thing anyway. Waxahatchee guests on "Site Unseen"; Flea plays bass on "One Thing At A Time"; Floating Points contributes synth to "Same". Mastered by Heba Kadry in New York.
