About the album.
Hourly, Daily is an alternative rock and indie rock record released in July 1996, the third studio album by Sydney band You Am I. While the two albums before it relied on volume, this one brought in trumpets, French horns, and string arrangements alongside the guitars, with Tim Rogers writing character sketches drawn from suburban Australian life. Themes across the record circle childhood, suburbia and relationships. It debuted at number one on the Australian albums chart and was certified platinum by ARIA. This 30th anniversary edition is pressed on olive green vinyl and, the band says, is remastered.
