About the album.
Originally released on 22 August 2025, The Clearing is the fourth studio album from English band Wolf Alice. Released through RCA and Columbia Records, the album follows 2021’s Blue Weekend and marks the band’s first album after leaving Dirty Hit.
Produced by Greg Kurstin, The Clearing was written in Seven Sisters, London and recorded in Los Angeles. Featuring Bloom Baby Bloom, The Sofa, White Horses, Just Two Girls and Thorns, the album moves into a more polished pop-rock space, drawing on 1970s classic rock influence while keeping Wolf Alice’s emotional range at the centre.
