About the album.

Originally released on 16 September 2022, Tough Baby is the second studio album from Canadian musical collective Crack Cloud. Released through Crack Cloud Media Studio and Meat Machine, the album followed 2020’s Pain Olympics and pushed the group’s post-punk foundations into a broader, more cinematic and experimental space.

Featuring Please Yourself, Tough Baby, Costly Engineered Illusion, The Politician and 1:15 At Night, the album moves through post-punk, art rock, new wave, experimental pop and collective rhythmic tension. It is sharp, strange and deliberately overfull, balancing social unease, theatrical detail and tightly wound musical control.
