About the album.

Deadbeat is the fifth studio album from Tame Impala, Kevin Parker's Australian psychedelic project, and it takes the project onto the dancefloor with electronic, house and disco rhythms. Released on 17 October 2025, it was the first Tame Impala album on Columbia Records. Parker wrote, performed, produced and mixed the album himself, recording at his home studio in Fremantle and at Wave House in Injidup, Western Australia, with additional recording and production from Loren Humphrey on 'Dracula', 'Loser' and 'Obsolete'. Sarah Aarons co-wrote 'Dracula', 'Oblivion' and 'Afterthought'. Promotional material tied the record to bush doof culture and the Western Australian rave scene, and its twelve tracks move between house, disco, psychedelic funk and acid house. Four singles came from the album: 'End Of Summer', 'Loser', 'Dracula' and 'My Old Ways'. 'End Of Summer' won Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. Deadbeat debuted at number 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, reached number 4 in the UK and on the Billboard 200, and was nominated for Australian Album of the Year at the 2025 J Awards. Matt Colton mastered and cut the album at Metropolis Mastering in London. This edition is the standard double LP on black vinyl.
