About the album.

Stereolab have been gone fifteen years, long enough that their return felt like an event before anyone had heard a note. The good news: Laetitia Sadier and Tim Gane still know exactly what they're doing. Recorded at Press Play in London with the current touring lineup and a well-chosen cast of guests, including Cooper Crain and Rob Frye of Bitchin Bajas and Ben LaMar Gay, then mixed at Wavicles in Berlin, mastered and lacquer cut by Bo Kondren at Calyx. The result is thirteen tracks that sit comfortably alongside the band's classic-era run without feeling like a nostalgia exercise. Pressed at Optimal Media on clear vinyl, gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves.
