About the album.
Released in 2020, Sunlight is the debut studio album from Fremantle indie rock band Spacey Jane. The album helped push the band from local favourites into one of Australia’s biggest indie success stories, led by songs including “Good For You”, “Head Cold” and “Booster Seat”.
Produced by Dave Parkin, Sunlight balances bright guitar-pop energy with lyrics that sit in a more vulnerable place. It is full of movement, melody and emotional friction, capturing the sound of a young band turning coastal indie rock into something more anthemic, personal and widely loved.
