About the album.
Originally released on 27 March 1995, Frogstomp is the debut studio album from Australian rock band Silverchair. Released through Murmur, the album arrived when Daniel Johns, Ben Gillies and Chris Joannou were still teenagers and quickly became one of the defining Australian rock records of the 1990s.
Featuring Tomorrow, Pure Massacre, Israel’s Son, Shade and Blind, the album captures Silverchair’s early sound in full force: heavy guitars, grunge weight, teenage intensity and a rawness that helped push the band from Newcastle to international attention.
This 30th Anniversary limited edition is pressed on 180g yellow/green marbled audiophile vinyl, with three sides of music and an etched fourth side. Housed in a gatefold sleeve, it is individually numbered and limited to 7500 copies.
