Olivia Dean - The Art of Loving (Vinyl LP)
Black Vinyl • 14-Page Booklet
Second albums are where the nerves show. Not here. Dean widened the room instead. Daptone rhythm players, a full string section, a voice that never once oversells the line. Twelve songs about love in all its forms, cut with the patience of someone who knew exactly how long to hold each note.

About the album.
Released 26 September 2025 on Capitol Records, The Art of Loving is Olivia Dean's second album, following 2023's Messy. Zach Nahome executive-produced and shares production credits across the record with Bastian Langebæk, Max Wolfgang, Julian Bunetta, John Ryan, Matt Zara, Matt Hales and Leon Michels.
Sessions were recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York, RAK, Rollover, Air Edel, Wadeson Street and The House of Loving. Michels produced "Lady Lady" with Hales, playing bass, guitar and keys alongside Homer Steinweiss on drums, with horns from Jermaine Amissah, Joe Bristow and Jack Banjo Courtney. Rosie Danvers arranged strings for "The Art of Loving," "Loud" and "A Couple Minutes," performed by Wired Strings. Maverick Sabre adds vocals to "A Couple Minutes"; Tobias Jesso Jr. co-wrote "Man I Need" and "Something Inbetween."
Mixed by Charlie Holmes, mastered by Simon Francis. Front cover photography by Jack Davison.
