About the album.
In A Space Outta Dub is a 2026 dub reworking of Nightmares On Wax's 2006 album In A Space Outta Sound, released on Warp. To mark the original's twentieth anniversary, George Evelyn (aka DJ E.A.S.E.) handed the master tapes to legendary dub producer Adrian Sherwood, who reshaped eight of its tracks into deep, bass-heavy versions steeped in the reggae and sound-system roots that fed the original, "You Wish" becomes "You Bliss," "Flip Ya Lid" becomes "Flippin' Eck." Sherwood remixed at his On-U Sound studio, with bass from Tackhead's Doug Wimbish.
This edition is a black vinyl LP on Warp Records, mastered and cut at Loud Mastering with sleeve design by Ruffmercy.
