My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything (Vinyl LP)
Gatefold • Fully Analog Cut • Four Art Prints • Download Card
Soft As Snow opens on a dry snare thud and a guitar that slides a half step flat and refuses to correct itself. Bass carries the melody while the chords smear across the top of it. Sueisfine thrashes through on downstrokes and cymbal wash and is gone. Feed Me With Your Kiss drives hard on a flat four before the whole thing pitches sideways into feedback. Cupid Come drags, chords ringing long enough to detune under their own weight. Two voices sit buried at the same pitch, folded into each other until the words go soft. Treble runs hot on All I Need, high frequencies pushed to the edge of chatter. Nothing resolves at the end, the last chord just bends flat and dissolves.

About the album.
Isn't Anything is a shoegaze and alternative rock record released in November 1988, the debut studio album by My Bloody Valentine. The band recorded it at Foel Studio in Wales and at Time Square and Greenhouse studios in London, produced it themselves, and released it on Creation Records. The guitar and production techniques built on experiments from the band's earlier EPs. Critics widely credit it as a pioneering work of shoegaze, and its noise-rock and dream-pop textures shaped a generation of independent guitar bands. It reached number one on the UK Independent Albums Chart. This edition is the Domino and MBV Records deluxe reissue, cut fully from analog sources and packaged in a gatefold sleeve with four art prints, a custom inner sleeve and a download card.
