About the album.
Released in 1994, Grace was Jeff Buckley's only completed studio album. Recorded largely at Bearsville Studios and produced by Andy Wallace, it moves between originals and reinterpretations. His reading of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" became the definitive version for a generation, alongside takes on James Shelton's "Lilac Wine" and Benjamin Britten's "Corpus Christi Carol." Buckley's four-octave voice sits at the centre, wrapped around guitar, harmonium, dulcimer and organ.
