Fleetwood Mac - Rumours (Vinyl LP)
Black Vinyl • 2025 Reissue
Harmonies stacked three deep and every one of them audible. Guitars dry and close, drums with the room left in. "Songbird" arrives with nothing behind it but a piano and a lot of empty air. "The Chain" builds its bassline up out of silence and never lets go of it. Heartbreak recorded so cleanly it almost sounds like good news.

About the album.
Rumours is the 1977 album from Fleetwood Mac, originally issued on Warner Bros. and reissued here by Reprise and Warner Records. The band produced it themselves alongside Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut, who also engineered, with Cris Morris assisting.
Eleven songs written across the group: Lindsey Buckingham on "Second Hand News," "Never Going Back Again" and "Go Your Own Way"; Stevie Nicks on "Dreams," "I Don't Want To Know" and "Gold Dust Woman"; Christine McVie on "Don't Stop," "Songbird," "You Make Loving Fun" and "Oh Daddy." "The Chain" is credited to all five members. Buckingham plays guitar and sings, Christine McVie plays keyboards and synthesiser and sings, Stevie Nicks sings, John McVie plays bass and Mick Fleetwood drums and percussion.
The sleeve photograph is by Herbert Worthington, who developed the design concept with the band; original album design is by Desmond Strobel, with hand lettering by Larry Vigon.
Lacquers for this reissue were cut by Chris Bellman, and the record was pressed by GZ Media in the Czech Republic.
