About the album.
If This Is It is DJ Seinfeld's third album, an electronic record built on house, UK garage and a strong pull toward early 2000s trance. Twelve tracks, released on Ninja Tune five years after Mirrors, his 2021 debut for the label. Armand Jakobsson has said he began writing it the week Mirrors came out, and describes the album as an attempt to turn long-held anxieties into acceptance. The guest list runs across the record: TS Graye on "U Can't Come Home", Confidence Man on "The Right", Dan Whitlam on the title track, ARY, just lil, Moyka, and SG Lewis on "Something That I've Never Known". It closes with a Lake Erie Mix of the title track. Discogs files it under electronic, with styles house and downtempo. Indie-exclusive transparent green pressing, gatefold sleeve with a paper inner, a download code and a 12x12 origami fortune teller insert.
