Originally released in 2017, Cigarettes After Sex is the debut studio album from the American band Cigarettes After Sex. The record introduced their signature sound: slow-motion dream pop built around clean guitar tones, ambient space, minimal percussion and Greg Gonzalez’s hushed vocal delivery.

Featuring K., Each Time You Fall in Love, Apocalypse and Sweet, the album is intimate, nocturnal and deliberately restrained. Its soft-focus production and recurring sense of longing give it a distinct mood, making Cigarettes After Sex one of the most recognisable dream pop records of the 2010s.
