Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska 180g
180g • Remastered • Reissue
Four-track cassette, a bedroom, and nothing else. No band, no studio polish, just Springsteen and the bleakest set of songs he's ever written. Killers, drifters, men out of luck and out of road. Recorded as demos, released as is, turns out that was the right call. Still the rawest thing in his catalogue.
“Great website experience and some absolute crackers to choose from, matched by swift delivery.”

About the album.
Nebraska, released in 1982, marked a stark turn for Bruce Springsteen after the arena-ready scale of The River. Springsteen initially recorded the album's ten songs on a Tascam four-track cassette recorder as rough demos intended to show the E Street Band his vision before they cut full-band versions. The stripped-back, haunting quality of those original takes proved impossible to improve on, and Springsteen released the demos largely as recorded, building the album around character studies of working-class lives told with unflinching honesty. This 180g reissue was remastered for vinyl by Bob Ludwig and Chris Bellman, restoring the recording's quiet intensity to a format that suits its bare-bones origins.
