Bat For Lashes - Fur and Gold
180g Black Vinyl
Fur and Gold moves like night vision. Bat For Lashes build a world of drums, piano, synths and shadowed melody. The songs feel intimate, but never small. Strange textures gather around Natasha Khan’s voice, pulling the record somewhere between folk, art pop and something more spectral. Delicate without feeling fragile. Dramatic without spilling over. A debut with its own atmosphere. Haunted, elegant and completely formed.
“Great website experience and some absolute crackers to choose from, matched by swift delivery.”

About the album.
Originally released in 2006, Fur and Gold is the debut studio album from Bat For Lashes, the project led by British artist Natasha Khan. The album introduced her distinctive blend of art pop, dream pop, folk and gothic-tinged atmosphere, built around vivid storytelling and richly textured arrangements.
Featuring What’s a Girl to Do?, Prescilla, Trophy and Tahiti, the record moves through shadowy percussion, cinematic synths, piano-led passages and Khan’s expressive vocal presence. Mysterious, theatrical and emotionally charged, Fur and Gold remains a striking debut with a fully formed world of its own.
This reissue is pressed on 180g vinyl and remastered at Abbey Road Studios, London.
