Arlo Parks - Ambiguous Desire
Marble Blue • Limited Edition • 140g • Gatefold
Modular synths instead of a live band. New York juke nights, strobes, close-contact dancefloors. Parks traded the intimate for the electric and made her most confident record yet. Twelve tracks of desire as a life force, wanting, yearning, momentum.
“Great website experience and some absolute crackers to choose from, matched by swift delivery.”

About the album.
Ambiguous Desire is the third studio album from West London singer-songwriter Arlo Parks, released 3 April 2026 on Transgressive Records. Produced primarily by Baird (Kevin Abstract, Brockhampton), with additional production from Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence and the Machine), Buddy Ross (Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend) and Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Dijon), the record was written and recorded across New York and London as Parks immersed herself in nocturnal club culture, a deliberate departure from the more controlled settings of her first two albums.
Where Collapsed in Sunbeams (2021) and My Soft Machine (2023) leaned on live band arrangements, Ambiguous Desire replaces them almost entirely with modular synths, Ableton plugins and samplers. The result is Parks' most kinetic and outward-facing work. Lead single "2Sided" announced the album in January 2026; "Heaven", "Get Go" and "Beams" followed ahead of release. The album reached No. 13 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart.
Parks is twice Grammy-nominated and holds a Mercury Prize and BRIT Award for Best New Artist, both won for Collapsed in Sunbeams.
