Angine De Poitrine - Vol. 1
Black Vinyl • 180g
Quebec's masked duo, quietly self-releasing in 2024, then the KEXP video hit. Over 15 million views later, Vol. 1 was changing hands for $600 a copy. The record that started it all. Six tracks of microtonal anti-arena-rock: loop-built, quarter-tone guitar, matte drums. Not chaos. Controlled detonation.
“Great website experience and some absolute crackers to choose from, matched by swift delivery.”

About the album.
Angine de Poitrine are a masked Quebec duo, Khn de Poitrine (double-necked microtonal guitar, bass, vocals) and Klek de Poitrine (drums, vocals), formed in Saguenay in 2019. They released Vol. 1 independently in June 2024, built a following on the Quebec festival circuit, and won Artist of the Year at the 2025 GAMIQ awards. In February 2026, a KEXP live session from Trans Musicales in Rennes went viral overnight, accumulating over 15 million views and making Vol. 1 the most in-demand record on Discogs, with copies trading at over $600. This eighth pressing, widely released internationally in June 2026 via Spectacles Bonzaï, is the first time the album has been broadly available. Pressed at Optimal Media (Germany), 180g. Recorded by Gabriel Gagné Gaudreault, mixed and mastered by Dany Lemay. Comes with a two-sided insert.
