About the album.

Truth or Consequence is a live album from Melbourne punk and pub rock band Amyl and the Sniffers, recorded at the El Coyote Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles on 28 April 2025 and filmed by longtime collaborator John Angus Stewart as a companion concert film. The band reworked their catalogue as stripped back country versions for a one off performance in front of a small and increasingly rowdy room of friends. The thirteen track set covers songs from across their releases, adds two previously unreleased tracks, and includes a cover of the Slim Dusty classic Lights On The Hill. It follows their third studio album Cartoon Darkness, released in 2024. The band are vocalist Amy Taylor, guitarist Declan Mehrtens, bassist Gus Romer and drummer Bryce Wilson.
