Alabama Shakes - Sound & Color (Vinyl 2LP Deluxe Edition Red / Black Splatter)
Red / Black Splatter • 2LP • Deluxe Limited Edition
A vibraphone rings out into empty space. Then the drums land like a door slamming. Guitars come in fuzzed and blown out, bass thick enough to move the shelf. The vocal swings from a whisper to a full scream inside a single bar. Strings creep in under the slower tracks. Everything is close miked, drenched, pushed into the red. Fuzz decays, and the room goes quiet again.
