About the album.

Originally released on 23 June 2015, Coming Home is the debut studio album from American singer and songwriter Leon Bridges. Released through Columbia Records, the album introduced Bridges’ vintage soul sound to a wider audience and quickly established him as one of the most distinctive new voices in modern R&B.

Featuring Coming Home, Better Man, Brown Skin Girl, Smooth Sailin’ and River, the album draws from classic soul, rhythm and blues, gospel and doo-wop, with warm arrangements and Bridges’ unmistakably smooth vocal delivery at the centre. The album was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
