About the album.
Released in 2000, Parachutes is the debut studio album from Coldplay, produced by the band alongside Ken Nelson, with one track produced by Chris Allison.
The album is built around stripped-back arrangements, blending alternative rock with softer, melodic songwriting. Tracks such as Yellow, Shiver, Trouble and Don’t Panic emphasise simplicity and space, establishing the band’s early sound.
This pressing is produced on EcoRecord clear vinyl, manufactured using 100% recycled PET. The injection-moulded process reduces energy use while maintaining the look and sound quality of traditional vinyl.
