About the album.

Originally released in 1992, Leaves Me Blind is the second album by Melbourne band Underground Lovers. Released through Guernica, a short-lived 4AD sublabel, the album marked a major step forward for the band’s layered, atmospheric sound.

The record brought together indie rock, dream-pop, shoegaze textures and electronic undercurrents, creating a sound that felt expansive, nocturnal and distinctly Australian. Featuring I Was Right, Ladies Choice, Promenade and Your Eyes, Leaves Me Blind helped cement Underground Lovers as one of the most forward-thinking Australian bands of the early 90s.

Layered, hypnotic and quietly influential, Leaves Me Blind remains one of the essential releases in the Underground Lovers catalogue.
