About the album.

Originally released in 2024, TANGK is the fifth studio album from British band IDLES. Released through Partisan Records, the album was produced by Nigel Godrich, Kenny Beats and IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen, bringing a more spacious and textural edge to the band’s already forceful sound.

Featuring Gift Horse, POP POP POP, Dancer, Grace and Gratitude, the album moves through art rock, post-punk, dance-punk and bruised love songs. Described by the band as a love album, TANGK balances force and tenderness, with IDLES pushing beyond pure confrontation into something more open, rhythmic and emotionally charged.

Pressed on black vinyl and housed in a single-sleeve jacket with printed inner sleeve.
