About the album.

The third album from Oasis, recorded between November 1996 and April 1997 across Abbey Road, Ridge Farm, Air, Master Rock and Orinoco Studios in England. Produced by Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher, who wanted the album to sound as "colossal" as possible, a goal achieved through layers of guitar overdubs and songs running well past the five-minute mark. Be Here Now became the fastest-selling album in British chart history, shifting 663,000 copies in its opening week, debuting at number one, and topping the charts in fifteen countries. It has sold eight million copies worldwide. The album features a guest appearance by Johnny Depp on Fade In-Out. This 2016 reissue was remastered by Ian Cooper at Metropolis Studios. The last Oasis studio album to feature founding members Bonehead and Paul McGuigan.
