Originally released on 16 April 2013 through Castle Face Records, Floating Coffin is a garage-psych album by Thee Oh Sees, led by John Dwyer. Arriving after Putrifiers II, it pushed the band into a heavier, darker and more feral space.

Featuring I Come From The Mountain, Toe Cutter / Thumb Buster, The Floating Coffin, No Spell and Minotaur, the record captures Thee Oh Sees at full velocity. The songs are sharp, noisy and restless, but still packed with hooks, melody and the band’s unmistakable sense of controlled chaos.
