Where Titanic Rising anticipated collapse, this record lives inside it: technology corroding connection, isolation dressed up as independence, a world where the personal and the apocalyptic are harder to tell apart. Produced by Mering and Jonathan Rado (Foxygen), the album is built from chamber pop, folk rock, and orchestral arrangements by Drew Erickson, lush but never overwrought, nostalgic in sound but entirely contemporary in theme. Released on Sub Pop in November 2022 to universal critical acclaim, it debuted on the US Billboard 200 and reached No. 27 in the UK.
