Underground Lovers - Cold Feeling
Cold Feeling lives up to the name. Underground Lovers pull the temperature down and let the songs glow from underneath. Guitars drift. Electronics hum. Voices move through the mix like signals from another room. It is cool, but not empty. The record feels suspended between indie rock, electronic pulse and late-night atmosphere. Less rush. More space. More shadow. A colder Underground Lovers album, but still lit from within.

About the album.
Originally released on 31 January 1999, Cold Feeling is the sixth album by Underground Lovers. Released through Reliant Records, the album continued the band’s evolution from indie rock and dream-pop into a more electronic, atmospheric space.
Recorded at Birdland, the album was produced by Glenn Bennie and Vincent Giarrusso. The record features contributions from Matt Bailey and Mérida Sussex of The Paradise Motel, Graham Lee of The Triffids, David Chesworth, Helen Mountfort, Hope Csutoros, Robert Tickner and Jim Yamouridis.
Featuring Cold Feeling, You Put Me In Your Movie, Pauline In The City, Infinite Finite and Feels So Good To Be Free, the album is a late-90s Underground Lovers release built around atmosphere, texture and electronic movement. This vinyl edition was released in 2023, bringing the album back into circulation for collectors and long-time Underground Lovers fans.
