About the album.
Placebo Re:Created is a 2026 reworking of Placebo's 1996 self-titled debut, released to mark the album's 30th anniversary. Rather than re-recording it, Brian Molko and Rob Kirwan returned to the original master tapes and rebuilt the songs, deepening the low end and reshaping Molko's vocals to bring three decades of live experience to material like "Nancy Boy," "Teenage Angst" and "36 Degrees." Mixed by Adam Noble, it reframes one of the defining alt-rock debuts of the 1990s.
This edition is a 12" gatefold LP pressed on 140-gram vinyl with a bonus white 7" single, collecting updated versions of all ten album tracks plus two bonus tracks from the original era.
