About the album.

Originally released in 2025, Orcutt Shelley Miller is the debut self-titled album from Bill Orcutt, Steve Shelley and Ethan Miller. Released through Silver Current Records, the album captures three distinct figures from experimental, alternative and underground music in the same room.

The trio brings together Bill Orcutt of Harry Pussy on guitar, Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth on drums and Ethan Miller of Howlin Rain on bass. Recorded live at Zebulon in Los Angeles during their first performance together in April 2024, the album moves between avant-rock, noise, psychedelic rock and improvisation.
