About the album.

Originally released in 2022, Skinty Fia is the third studio album from Irish band Fontaines D.C. The record marked a darker, more atmospheric shift in their sound, moving beyond the sharp post-punk urgency of their earlier work into something more spacious, melodic and heavy with tension.

Featuring Jackie Down the Line, Roman Holiday, I Love You and Skinty Fia, the album explores themes of Irish identity, exile, memory and disconnection. Brooding and tightly controlled, Skinty Fia captures Fontaines D.C. widening their sound without losing the pressure at the centre of the band.
