About the album.

Originally released on 13 March 2026, Play Me is a solo album from Kim Gordon. Released through Matador Records, the album follows 2024’s The Collective and continues Gordon’s collaboration with producer Justin Raisen.

Featuring Play Me, Girl With a Look, Dirty Tech, Not Today and Busy Bee, the album moves through beat-driven art rock, industrial texture, trap-influenced rhythm and stripped-back experimental pop. It is concise, immediate and sharply focused, with Gordon pushing her sound into something more melodic, direct and rhythmically charged.
