About the album.

Originally released on 24 May 2024, Frog in Boiling Water is the fourth studio album from American band DIIV. Released through Fantasy Records and produced by Chris Coady, the album follows 2019’s Deceiver and continues the band’s move into heavier, more immersive shoegaze textures.

Featuring In Amber, Brown Paper Bag, Raining on Your Pillow, Frog in Boiling Water, Everyone Out and Soul-net, the album explores slow societal collapse, technological overwhelm and the feeling of being caught inside systems that keep heating up around us. Across ten tracks, DIIV balance distortion, atmosphere and uneasy beauty with a deep sense of tension.
