About the album.
Originally released in 2018, Some Rap Songs is the third studio album from Earl Sweatshirt. The record marked a sharp shift into a more fragmented, experimental sound, built around brief loops, muted samples, dense lyricism and deliberately rough-edged production.
Featuring Shattered Dreams, The Mint, The Bends, Azucar and Playing Possum, the album is compact, personal and heavy with reflection.
