New Sky stretches a single figure out past five minutes and lets it climb. Lost In My Mind snaps forward on dry percussion and a synth line. No Place breaks into the chorus, then drops the floor out. Underwater takes six minutes to surface, filters easing back a layer at a time. Another Life keeps going after the vocal leaves, thinning out to a single held pad.

About the album.
Solace is the third studio album from Australian alternative dance trio RÜFÜS DU SOL, an electronic record that leans on deep house pulse and synth pop melody in equal measure. It arrived on 19 October 2018, following Atlas and Bloom, and was the first album released after the group consolidated its name to RÜFÜS DU SOL worldwide, having used it in North America only until then. Four singles came from it: No Place, Underwater, Lost In My Mind and Treat You Better. In November 2019 the album was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, where Underwater was also nominated for Best Dance Recording. This Australian pressing comes from Sweat It Out! and Rose Avenue in a gatefold sleeve. Note that Solace is not the trio's most recent album.
