About the album.

Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is Pavement's second album, released in February 1994 on Matador. Recorded August–September 1993 at Random Falls, it marked a shift from the abrasive lo-fi of Slanted and Enchanted toward something more open and melodic — without losing the band's sideways humour or studied carelessness. Stephen Malkmus, Scott Kannberg, Mark Ibold, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West, who replaced original drummer Gary Young partway through the sessions. Remastered by Kevin Gray at AcousTech Mastering.
