Robin Taylor-Firth's keys turn up across half the record, Chris Dawkins plays the guitar that stretches \"Pipes Honour\" past nine minutes, and Shovell adds percussion to the closer. Underneath it all sit the samples that give the record its warmth, Quincy Jones on \"Nights Introlude\", The Dells on \"Me + You\", Smokey Robinson on \"(Man) Tha Journey\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\"\u003eReleased 25 September 1995 on Warp, it barely troubled the charts and went on to become one of the most quietly influential British records of the decade, the template for two decades of downtempo that followed.
