That warmth is the whole record. Lee's bass carries most of the melodic weight, Mark Speer's guitar answers it in long reverbed phrases, and Donald \"DJ\" Johnson keeps a backbeat so relaxed it barely registers as effort. \"Maria También\" arrived first as the lead single, \"August 10\" and \"A Hymn\" barely move at all, and \"Friday Morning\" takes nearly seven minutes to say goodbye.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\"\u003eMost of it was cut in an untreated barn on Speer's family property outside Burton, Texas, a town of under three hundred people with no Wi-Fi and barely any phone reception, then finished at The Treehouse in Houston.
