The new album was written by Lloyd-Watson, McFarland and Kitto, produced by Lloyd-Watson and Kitto with additional production from McFarland and Jamie Lloyd Taylor, and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis. It was trailed by three singles, \"Carry On\" in March, premiered as BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record, \"The Wave\" in May, which the band described as drawing on Brazilian music of the 1960s and 70s, and \"Someday, Somewhere\" in July. \"Romeo II\" brings back Bas, who featured on \"Romeo\" from Loving in Stereo (2021), the first guest appearance Jungle ever put on a record, and returned for \"Pretty Little Thing\" on Volcano.
